In the picturesque Lincolnshire village of Haxey, The Memorial Hall provides the setting for numerous community projects.
From pre-school to plays, library services to coffee mornings, the hall delivers a flexible space to cater for a variety of needs.
We have a variety of rooms available to hire for everything from a wedding to a regular get together.

Roof Renovation
Most people will be aware of the constant need to maintain, repair and improve older buildings and the drain that has on resources. The trustees of Haxey Memorial Hall certainly are! We are fortunate in that we have a number of regular hirers plus several “one off” events and we also work hard ourselves to boost our income, for example, via supper quizzes, bingo, table top sales and drama productions. When it comes to very costly repairs, however, our own funds need a boost. We are, therefore, extremely grateful to North Lincs. Council for awarding us a grant of £15,000 (towards a total cost of £23,000) to enable us to renovate the flat roof sections of the hall. The £9,000 shortfall came from our own funds. The new roof means that Haxey Pre-School is assured of a leak free room in which to work and thus provide a valuable facility for children in the village and beyond and on the other side of the building, the kitchen and drama store are secure now too. The work has been carried out to a high standard by Dez Eaton of Epworth. It was a pleasure to work with Dez who was extremely accommodating in being flexible and working around hall users.
